Hi everyone.
Let me tell you why today was so good.  First, I turned 35 today.  Some of you
know how remarkable that is.  That I turned 35 and can be so so happy about it.

Within those 35 years, I have seriously lived a couple of different lives, most of
them fueled by pain and suffering and a subconscious desire to be done with
myself.  The last few years of my last life though, I was made aware that there
was something else other than self-destruction.  So, I went out in search of it.

Now, standing at my 35th year, I found tons of new and better and exciting stuff.
I found this thing called joy, a thing called thankfulness, something by the
name of love, pieces of humble pie to eat on often, and a light always showing
me the direction to even more good stuff.  I smile now without worry that my
apple shaped face will expand in some unattractive way.  Happiness is always
beautiful, ya know?

So, this morning, after a very successful meeting with someone who had an
opportunity for me to help change the world,  I sat down to a warmed
cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese and a cup of cafe blend
coffee at Panera Bread.

I chewed each bite of that scrumptious bagel as if God were hand feeding me
a taste of his very favorite delight himself.  It tasted so good.  I used to eat the
same bagel some mornings with a rushed mild enjoyment, cause shoot, a
chick couldn't be late for work.  But today, with nowhere urgent to go, because
now I create my days like art, I sat and relished in the perfection of that bagel
and the coffee brewed so right.  I must have looked happy, cause two people
smiled at me.  I smiled back.

After I finished my small meal,  I sat,  still tasting those flavors melded together so
right, still sipping on coffee as if I were a lady in waiting.

The point is guys, life doesn't suck.  Life can be miraculous everyday.  You may
know that already.  But, just in case that fact sits on shelf twelve in the back of
your consciousness,  I invite you to notice how the sun sets tonight. It's gonna set if
you notice or not.  I invite you to watch this show, free of charge, and smile.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!!!!!     AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
